Love these well made sandbags

I've been using these clamps for small practicals, or small accent lights. They are sturdy and do exactly what you want grip to do. I love the small "nub" towards the end of the threat that keeps everything from unscrewing itself and falling apart. I hope to use these for years. I also appreciated getting a simple padded box with tools inside. No mountain of branded packaging to toss and junk up a landfill.

Expensive but very solid

This arm is the gold standard for strength and flexibility. I LOVE the swappable accessories - the process is simple and the accessories plentiful. The arm can be a bit difficult to articulate unless fully loosened, but that's a worthwhile tradeoff for its strength. I use it for some semi serious camera rigs and for rigging up lights.

This particular packages is an amazing deal and includes all the accessories I want - the 3/8 with locking pins is a great recent addition and the clamp and baby pin attachments make common rigging situations a breeze.

Would give it 10 out of 5 stars, if possible. I have three and want to get even more.

These BoaBags are perfect for counter-balance weights. They're perfect for wrapping around the back end of an arm to offset the weight of a small cantilevered light. With a quick wrap, they stay securely in place. While the 10 lb. bag can do the job of securing a small light stand, these are really designed (and priced) for the more precise job that calls for smaller weight increments. They're a lovely grip invention that stand up to the professional rigors of the job. Well done!

This is a great set at a great price. The ball head is strong and doesn't slip from vibration. I have tested it in combination with the suction mount on my car window and it work very well. The baby pin mount is great for use on c-stands and clamps, etc.

Look, Matthelinis are not quite Cardies for quality of build. The finish is a bit rough, although the threads are silky smooth. But they are officially licensed by Cardellini, and they do the job. This deal is ridiculously good, the Grip head is basically free. Great starter kit but I needed to fill in some gaps and this was too good to pass up.
